He was bred at my request by Trina & Ian Kennard. In his younger years in the Show Ring he won Multi Best in Group, Class In Group & Class In Show awards. An exceptional representative of the Shiba Inu.

"Not Just A Show Dog".

As he matured he became a sweet & gentle dog, so much so that he spent 7 years of involvement in the "Pet Therapy Dog Program" with the Caring Canine Companions of the Golden Retriever Club of South Australia, visits various Aged Care Facilities in Adelaide and helps the Aged & Frail to enjoy life just that little bit more.

He was loved so much by the Residents who would await his arrival with excitement & anticipation. He would position himself so the Aged & Frail could pet and stroke him with ease. He was especially gentle with them and would take any morsel of food offered so carefully. Even after a break to renew his coat "Pooh" remembered exactly where he was going and what was expected of him.

At home he generally spent most of his time just laying about and getting under your feet if there was even the slightest suggestion of the possibility he may get some food. Which accounted for his rather "Tubby" body.
