We believe Amba” brings to Aaczar Kennels many attributes that embody the Correct Female Shiba Breed Characteristics, as desired in the Japanese Nippo Standard.

"Amba" was purchased from Trina & Ian Kennard, and became South Australia's First Grand Champion Shiba Inu Bitch.

"Amba" attained her Australian Champion Title in 2000, and Australian Grand Champion Title in 2006. (As a point of interest there were No 6 Point Challenges in the 1000 points submitted for this Title). Along the way she had her first litter and we still have the only off-spring of this litter (Australian Champion Aaczar Touch O Darkness).

In 2007 Amba whelped her second (and final) litter. The only off-spring of this litter "Taz" (Australian Champion Aaczar Midnight Glow), was bred specifically for Tara Jones, has had some success in the Show Ring.

"Amba" retired to a life of luxury on the couch after much success in the Show ring,

She has a wonderful temperament, and is often inclined to just curl up on the lounge or in a lap and snooze. She also guards the house and warns of anything that she feels are "Intruders", even any-one walking past the house in the street she alerts us of their presence.
